Doros PolydorouDoros Polydorou is a creative coder with a keen interest in technological embodiment. He has done extensive work with visual toolkits, game engines, Arduino boards, wireless sensors and camera vision systems. Throughout his past work, he has collaborated with dancers, live music composers, costume designers, stage designers and an assemble of other visual artists. Doros is currently the program leader of Digital Media Design award at the University of Hertfordshire and he is currently investigating the collection and the potential uses of bio-data.

Alexis KarkotisAlexis is an Independent Researcher in the fields of Anthropology, Emerging Technologies and Ecology. His latest international multi-disciplinary work combines expertise on indigenous cultures, theories of animism and emerging technologies. Alexis co-authored a paper on design guidelines related to digitally “ensouled” jewellery. Alexis is visiting scientist at Future World Center and an Assistant Coordinator at the Reinventing Democracy in the Digital Era Project. He is responsible for coordinating the Indigenous Communities Initiative within the Reinventing Democracy Project.

Antje IllnerAntje Illner is a jewellery designer and a design consultant. She is the programme leader for Cotnemporary Applied Arts and Contemporary Design Crafts at the University of Hertfordshire as well as a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art. Antje is currently exploring wearable technologies within her jewellery under the theme of “transformation” and through the use of Rapid Prototyping to create forms, which are complex inside and simple and sensual on the outside.
